Every number in the filing should be accounted for.
A circle-up is still done by hand: someone reads the filing with a pen and circles what the comfort letter should cover. It is careful work, it is slow, and a missed number is easy to make and hard to notice. Signed Off exists to give that work software that accounts for every number.

What we believe.
Three principles. The product is built on them.
- Nothing is dropped
- Every number on every page is extracted. Classification decides whether a number is a candidate for a circle. It never decides whether the number exists. What cannot be classified stays marked unknown.
- Rules you can read
- Never-circle rules are written down: page furniture, reference numbers such as citations and exhibit numbers, exhibit indexes, and the audited financial statements in a 10-K or 10-Q. They apply last, and nothing overturns them.
- Reviewers decide
- The software proposes circles. A reviewer can circle or uncircle any item, and the change is attributed to them. The judgment stays with the people responsible for the letter.
